PorchQ is not a subscription product. There is no monthly platform fee, no minimum spend, and no payment card required to create or configure an account.
What Is Free
You can create your organization, add communities, invite your team, and configure PorchQ without a card.
These stay free:
- Account creation and sign-in
- Organizations, management companies, master associations, and sub-associations
- People, units, invitations, and permissions
- Workflows, configuration, and ordinary navigation
- Reasonable fair-use document storage
Signup is account creation, not checkout.
How Usage Is Paid
Start free. Add funds when you want. Use as much or as little as you need.
When you are ready to use metered services, put a dollar balance into PorchQ. Metered services deduct transparent dollar amounts from that balance.
Only an explicit paid service with a published rate is charged. See the current published rates in Usage & Billing. This guide does not list prices.
Usage can be attributed and rolled up by association, so you can see which HOA generated usage.
Auto-Reload Is Not a Subscription
Optional auto-reload can keep your balance funded. You set a threshold, a reload amount, and a default payment method.
Auto-reload purchases value when the threshold is crossed. It is not a Stripe subscription, not an App Store subscription, and not a recurring PorchQ charge. You can turn it off at any time.
What Happens at Zero Balance
Free PorchQ access remains available. Paid services pause until funds are available. A zero balance does not disable your account or your data.
iPhone and iPad
Authorized staff can open Account → Usage & Billing to view balance, usage, published rates, history, and auto-reload status.
The App Store app is view-only for Usage & Billing. It does not sell wallet funds. When paid services are paused, your organization billing administrator manages billing.
Resident Autopay for HOA dues is a separate payment flow. It is not the PorchQ balance.
