AI Assistant
The AI Assistant is your central hub for AI-powered help in PorchQ. It's the default landing page when you access your property, putting powerful AI tools at your fingertips.

Review Images
Attach a JPEG, PNG, or GIF image and ask the assistant to summarize what is visible, review a screenshot, or answer a question about the image. Image review works directly from the attached file and is separate from indexed document search.

Draft Communications
Ask the AI to draft emails, announcements, or policy documents.
You can also use AI helper from Communications when starting a resident conversation or replying to a thread. It can draft, soften, shorten, or firm up the message body, then inserts the result into the composer so a manager can review before sending.
Quick Start
- The AI Assistant opens automatically when you access your property
- Type your question or draft request in the composer
- Use the toolbar below the composer to adjust mode, audience, tone, answer details, document context, or prompts before you send
- Use Prompts for common tasks:
- Draft a notice - Create resident communications
- Meeting recap - Summarize meeting minutes into action items
- Document question - Ask about governing documents
- Vendor help - Evaluate vendor options and draft questions
- Press Enter or click Send
Composer Toolbar
The composer stays focused on writing. Controls live in the toolbar below the box so the AI can still produce a more useful answer on the first try:
- Mode: Ask, Draft, Summarize, or Plan
- Audience: Board, residents, manager, or vendor
- Tone: Clear, friendly, formal, or firm
- Answer details: Include next steps, citations, risks, or related guidance
- Context: Review indexed document status and start from a recent document
- Prompts: Start from quick prompts or reusable board workflows
The + button in the composer lets board members and managers attach PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, text files, JPEGs, PNGs, or GIFs. Documents are searched through Document Q&A after indexing; images are reviewed directly by the assistant.
Attachments can be removed before sending. Each file can be up to 25 MB.
Suggested Next Actions
After an answer, the assistant suggests practical follow-ups such as drafting a resident reply, creating an action checklist, or searching for related exceptions. Select a suggestion to load it into the composer, then edit it before sending.
